EXPERIENCE 5-DAYS TANZANIA WILDLIFE JOINING SAFARI DAY 1: MOSHI/ARUSHA to TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK Start your adventure with an early morning departure from Moshi or Arusha, heading to Tarangire National Park. Known as the “home of elephants,” Tarangire is famous for its large herds of these gentle giants, as well as iconic baobab trees and diverse wildlife. The day is filled with game drives, allowing you to spot zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, and various bird species. After a full day of exploration, you’ll head to your nearby lodge for a restful evening and a delicious dinner under the Tanzanian sky. DAY 2: TARANGIRE to SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK After breakfast, set off on a scenic drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area on your way to the world-famous Serengeti National Park. Along the way, enjoy the ever-changing landscapes as you leave the baobab-filled plains of Tarangire and transition into the endless grasslands of the Serengeti. Once inside the park, the adventure truly begins with afternoon game drives, seeking out lions, cheetahs, and leopards that call this park home. As the day ends, arrive at your lodge in the heart of the Serengeti, ready for a night in Africa’s most iconic wilderness. DAY 3: FULL DAY IN SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK Spend the entire day exploring the Serengeti, home to the spectacular annual wildebeest migration and a vast array of wildlife. Early morning game drives are especially rewarding as you may catch predators like lions and leopards in action. Continue your safari through the open plains, witnessing zebras, gazelles, and other grazers that thrive in this vast ecosystem. Enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the wildlife and continue your exploration in the afternoon before returning to your lodge for a cozy evening under the stars. DAY 4: SERENGETI to NGORONGORO CRATER Rise early to bid farewell to the Serengeti and journey towards the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site known as “Africa’s Garden of Eden.” After arriving at the crater rim, you’ll descend into the caldera, where dense wildlife populations await. With luck, you may spot the elusive black rhino, along with lions, hippos, and flamingos near Lake Magadi. After a full day exploring this unique ecosystem, ascend back to the crater rim and drive to a nearby lodge for an evening of rest and storytelling around the fire. DAY 5: LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK to MOSHI/ARUSHA On the final day, visit Lake Manyara National Park, a beautiful reserve nestled along the Rift Valley escarpment. Known for its tree-climbing lions and lush groundwater forest, Lake Manyara is a bird-watcher’s paradise, hosting thousands of flamingos, pelicans, and other water birds. Enjoy a final game drive and savor your last moments among Tanzania’s wildlife. In the afternoon, head back to Moshi or Arusha, with your heart full of memories and a camera filled with unforgettable safari moments.
